Aida to Jazz Music Festival Series - April to September

A series of concerts held at the Toukley Senior Citizens Club, 1 Hargraves Street, Toukley. Featuring Beccy Cole & her band (Monday April 26th), Newcastle Festival Opera Company (Monday 14th June), Strictly Dixie Jazz (Sunday 4th July), Central Coast Symphony Orchestra (Sunday 22nd August) and Gosford Musical Society (Sunday 19th September). Independent Power Boat Club Race Days - Budgewoi Lake - Osbourne Reserve, Toukley

The Independent Power Boat Club hosts regular Powerboat Race Day Events on Budgewoi Lake at Osbourne Reserve, Peel St Toukley. Race day dates for 2010 are as follows;

Food, Fun & Music Festival - Saturday 12th June to Monday 14th June

Bring the family along for a day of fun activities and great food including wine tasting, gourmet food, market stalls, farmyard nursery, reptile displays, amusements, face painting, live entertainment on the Village Green stage and an outdoor screening of the Disney movie 'UP". Check out the action from 11am. Whaledreamers Festival - Norah Head Lighthouse - Sunday 4th July

Created by a passionate group of locals this festival brings the community together to raise awareness of the plight of whales. Date for 2010 has yet to be confirmed. Bring the family along from 10am to 2pm for all the free entertainment and activities. Call Nikki on 0415 207 887

Chrysler Wake Run Weekend - Canton Beach - 30th July - 1st August

The Hunter Valley Chrysler Club are proudly hosting the annual Chrysler Wake Run Weekend to help remember the past and celebrate the future. The Show & Shine will be held on the foreshore of Tuggerah Lake at Canton Beach in front of Canton Beach Tourist Park on Sunday 1st August. 14th Annual Gathering of the Clans - Harry Moore Oval, Toukley - Saturday 28th August

A celebration of all that is Scottish. Witness the sights and sounds from 11 am with various Celtic actvities including mass pipe band displays, highland dancing, highland games - even trace your own Scottish heritage with the Clans. Traditional Scottish fare will be available along with other food stalls and refreshments. Rides and activities will keep the kids busy so bring along the whole family.

The day's festivities will kick off with the 'Parade of the Tartans' featuring the visiting Pipe Bands marching and playing from Heador Street at 10.30a, proceeding along Crossingham Street and into Harry Moore Oval. The Parade is a great spectacle with Scottisg Pipe and Drum Bands visiting from around the state marching with clan and community groups.

And to finish the day off why not come to the Ceilidh (Scottish Dance Party) featuring Lithgow Highland Pipe Band and the Jacaranda Ceilidh Band, hosted by the Torchbearers for Legacy from 7pm on Saturday 28th August. So don't miss out on the Ceilidh and as space is limited you can pre purchase your tickets by emailing gotc@optusnet.com.au

The Clans weekend kicks off with the 'Premier Highland Dance Competition on Friday 27th August from 6.30pm at Club Toukley RSL.

Carols @ Lighting of the Christmas Tree - Village Green -Sunday 28th November



Join us from 5pm in the Village Green, Canton Beach Rd Toukley for Carols and the Lighting of the Christmas Tree with a visit from Santa and Big Dog, farmyard nursey, free face painting, a rooftop fireworks display and lots more. Australia Day Eve Celebrations - Canton Beach Foreshore - Tuesday 25th January 2011

Join us to celebrate Australia Day on the Canton Beach foreshore from 4.30pm on Monday 25th January. With live entertainment featuring the OZIMAID Band and Jake Cassar with bush tucker, free pony rides, farm animals to feed, whip cracking, gold panning, roving bush rangers, Aussie trivia, lamington making, market stalls and amusement rides. Soldiers Beach Body Boarding Pro - Sunday 11th - 18th April

Body Boarding competition featuring a round of the World Pro circuit and a round of the amateur State titles. Expecting around 300 competitors. First time in four years a World Pro round has been held in Australia.
FREE OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHT & AUTOGRAPH SIGNING - Monday 12th April
Featuring body boarding movies and autograph signing ... come along and meet the body boarding pro's from around the world and see the latest body boarding footage. In the event of inclement weather the screening and autograph signing will take place in the Toukley Senior Citizens Club, 1 Hargraves Street, Toukley.

Toukley & Districts Art Society 60th Art Exhibition - Federation Gallery 
Friday 9th - 25th April
